Railroad House Inn - A Hidden Gem in Marietta, PA

Thank you railroad house in for a great wedding for my sister and David this weekend. The groundskeeping was absolutely beautiful. Everyone loved the fire pit and the care house was a beautiful location.

We stayed here for a wedding and also ate at their restaurant. The staff is amazing and diligent, the rooms are cozy, and the food is top notch. Their wedding venue spaces were also a delight for a special day for dear friends.

My husband and I eat here often as of late. We are always impressed with the entrees and starters. The drinks are delicious and if you sit at the bar, the bartender is very friendly and skilled. The food is top notch quality with amazingly savory, complex flavors and super fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is also quite lovely for a date night. There are charming, secluded booths, as well as an open air patio thats well lit at night. Staff is always on top of it and very nice. Overall a wonderful gem in our little town of Marietta!

Great place that got a group of 8 in although we arrived without a reservation (should have called ahead). Awesome atmosphere with good unique food and drinks.

We had the best evening celebrating my parent’s anniversary at the Railroad house. We reserved the summer cottage for our dinner. It was the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Just lovely and quaint. Everyone’s food was amazing from the appetizers to the entrees, everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. Our special photo cake, baked by the Railroad house bakery was also done perfect and tasted wonderful. We had Angie for our server and she was awesome! Nailed the entire evening and was happy to honor all of our special requests. Our entire experience at the Railroad house exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for making our evening one to remember.

Great food and service. In town for a weekend with friends and Angie our server was amazing. She was so good we came back the second night of our stay for dinner. Food was on par and everything we remembered from our trip to Marietta 8 years ago. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite restaurants of all time! We revisit at least once a year, and the staff always welcome us with warmth and great conversation. We had our rehearsal dinner here, and had a family wedding here two years later. We have never had one bad bite in our 5 years of consistent RR House cuisine. Last night, Autumn blew us away with a vegetable puree soup, and Angie served us with kindness, professionalism and a happy energy. Already planning our next visit!

This is a must try if you are in the area. The restaurant is located out of the way; however, has plenty of parking and easy to find. The true highlight is the fresh ingredients and cooking skill that shines through the food. Have had the pleasure of eating here multiple times and each time I've enjoyed my meal. I've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants, and while the service is not the same, the food might be on the level of a one star. The menu changes regularly with the season, and that makes for a new experience each time we visit. Though sometimes sad when a favorite is crafted a different way. Definitely worth checking out!
